Harvest and Production
The Pentio Roble is made with hand-selected tinta de toro grapes which are harvested at the ideal point of maturity.
After a cold maceration, controlled fermentation occurs at 27° for 14 days in stainless steel tanks followed by malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks. The wine then spends 5 months in new American oak barrels, with a capacity of 225 litres.
There is a minimum permanence of 3 months in the bottle, before this wine is released.
Tasting Note
Intense deep red colour with violet shades.
Intense red fruit aroma. The blackberry is remarkable, with spicy notes and a vanilla touch.
To the palate, Pentio Roble is smooth and fruity, with a soft and lasting finish.
Matching
This wine is ideal to match roasts, red meat and game, cured cheese and foie gras.
